1. Shipping locations

  • Worldwide Shipping: We ship globally, with the exception of certain restricted or unavailable regions.
  • Destination Eligibility: If a shipping destination is unavailable, the checkout will not allow it and will clearly notify you.
  • US, EU, and UK: These regions are eligible for free shipping on orders shipped from the selected region. We reserve the right to review exceptionally large orders and may contact you if shipping adjustments are necessary.
  • Other Regions: Shipping is available at a standard fee, automatically calculated at checkout based on destination and item count.
  • Production Facilities: Orders are dispatched from various production facilities depending on the destination, which may influence processing and delivery timelines.

2. Shipping fees & free shipping

  • Free Shipping: Applies to orders shipped within the US, EU, or UK. Please ensure your shipping address corresponds to the region from which your order will ship.
  • Standard Fees: Applied to all other destinations and calculated automatically at checkout.
  • Split Shipments: Orders may be split into multiple shipments based on product availability. These do not incur extra fees except for specially approved bulk or custom orders.
  • Policy Updates: We reserve the right to update shipping fees or free shipping policies at any time.

3. Tips for best rates

  • Region Selector: Use selector to choose the specific country or region where you intend to ship your order. This ensures you see the correct availability and rates for your destination. On desktop, use the selector in the top-right header. On mobile, access it through the menu () to choose your region.
  • Eligibility: Free shipping is available exclusively when your shipping address matches the regional conditions outlined in the sections above.
  • Item Count: Shipping fees are applied on a flat, per-item basis for destinations outside the US, EU, and UK. Adding multiple items to your cart will increase the total shipping cost accordingly, as each product incurs its own standard shipping fee.

4. Order processing & delivery times

  • Made to Order: All products are manufactured upon order.
  • Processing: Typically takes 3–7 business days before the order is shipped.
  • Estimated Delivery (Post-Processing):
    • United States: 5–10 business days
    • EU & UK: 5–15 business days
    • International: 10–30 business days
  • Special Locations: Shipping to remote areas, territories, PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or islands may require additional time.
  • Delivery Estimates: Times are estimates only and may be affected by carriers, customs, holidays, peak seasons, or weather. Packages are considered delivered when left at the provided address; signature requirements depend on the carrier.

5. Order tracking

  • Tracking Number: You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.
  • Carriers: Typical carriers include USPS, Royal Mail, or local postal services depending on the destination.
  • Liability: We are not responsible for delays or lost packages once the carrier has accepted the shipment.

6. Claims window

  • Missing Packages: If your tracking information hasn't updated for more than 14 business days, please contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.
  • Reporting Period: Claims for lost or undelivered packages must be submitted within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. We cannot guarantee assistance for claims made after this window.

7. Customs, duties & import taxes

  • International Charges: Customers outside the US, EU, or UK may be responsible for customs duties, VAT, or import taxes.
  • Recipient Responsibility: These charges are not included in the order total and must be paid by the recipient.
  • Tax Calculation: Shopify calculates taxes automatically based on the shipping destination, not the browsing location or billing address.

8. Shipping restrictions & errors

  • Product Restrictions: Some items may be restricted in certain countries; the checkout system will only allow eligible destinations.
  • Address Accuracy: Ensure your shipping address is complete. We are not responsible for shipments lost due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
  • Undeliverable Packages: If a package is returned to sender as undeliverable, we may contact you to arrange a refund or reshipping at our discretion.

9. Shipping options

  • Standard Service: All orders are shipped via standard shipping.
  • Express Shipping: We do not currently offer multiple shipping speeds or express options.

10. Fulfillment & Packaging

  • Our orders are fulfilled and shipped by trusted production partners. As a result, the return address or sender name on your package may display the name of the fulfillment provider (such as Shirt Monkey or SwiftPOD) rather than Common Threads. This is completely normal and does not affect your order in any way.
